VENDING
/ HENNA ARTISTS / MASSAGE THERAPISTS Vending is allowed ONLY for those who have registered themselves as vendors. If you are a vendor, henna artist or massage therapist interested in offering your services or vending at camp, please contact Artemis at artemisdances@yahoo.com for terms and conditions. PERFORMANCES
(TEACHERS AND STUDENTS) There will be three concerts. One traditional Turkish night and the other with an Arabic emphasis where our instructors and and specially invited guests will perform.
We will have a Camper Cabaret on Friday where our campers will perform. Performances are on a first-come, first serve basis, but you must meet the following conditions: You must have been dancing for at least seven years and have at least 100 public performances. We reget that we cannot have the same camper performers two years in a row. There are five camper performance slots available. To register you must contact Artemis at artemisdances@yahoo.com. No applicants will be accepted after April 30th. You must dance with the band. There will be LOTS and LOTS of open dancing with our great musicians for everyone at all concerts (folk dance and Middle Eastern Oriental style). DANCE
PARTY EVERY NIGHT Beginning with our Friday night welcome party, our wonderful musicians will play for you every night. The students and teachers can enjoy open dancing every evening (both Folkloric and Middle Eastern Oriental style). All concerts and open music and dance parties are held in the dining room. There will be hot and cold late night snacks (no charge). There will also be a cash bar where you can purchase beverages every night.
SWAP
MEET
On Saturday evening only during dinner and until the show, we will have a swap meet for anyone who wishes to sell their music/dance/ethnic items. So, if you decide to clean out your closets, dance bags, garages, attics, music collections, etc., we will set up tables and you can buy, trade and haggle to your heart's content. You must be responsible for your own items and have each item tagged with your name and price. Please do not leave your items unattended as Folk Tours will not be held responsible.
