REGISTRATION FEES
ALATURKA MUSIC AND DANCE FESTIVAL
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL UNTIL MAY 28th, 2008 - $1,650 USD excluding airfare!!! To take advantage of this special price simply send in your deposit by PayPal or mail by May 28th, 2008. Registration price after May 28th - $1,750 USD. Children under the age of 3 are free. Children between the ages of 3 and 7 have a special price of $1000. A deposit of $ 400.00 USD per person is required to ensure your reservation. The rest of the balance is due June 12th,2008. Registration deadline is June 12th, 2008. Single room supplements are available for an additional $240. In the unlikely event that we should have to alter our itinerary or cancel, we urge our attendees to purchase refundable airlines tickets (we want for your investment to be protected). The international flight tickets to and from Turkey are at your own expense but Folk Tours can help you arrange your flight if you would like. Please contact us at danceinfo@folktours.com
Group Discount If you have 3 or more students, friends and/or family members who join our Festival and/or optional tours, you are entitled to a special discount on your festival package! You will recieve a 5% discount for every person you have referred. This offer applies to full time festival attendees and does not include children or significant others. Significant Other Discount Turkey is for lovers! If you would like to attend the festival but wish to bring your non dancing partner we offer the Alaturka festival package which includes everything we offer in the festival with the EXCEPTION of the dance and music classes for $1050. "Day Trippers" - If you are going to be in Istanbul on your own and you would like to join us for classes, we have something called a "Day Tripper" rate. You can also attend our Goodbye Party / Teacher Student show if you wish! Being a day tripper means that you pay for each class and show separately. As a Day Tripper, Folk Tours regrets that we cannot be responsible for your accommodations or meals. Day Trippers will NOT be provided with hotel, food or extra activities. Day Trippers will NOT be provided with transportation to or from the airport OR to or from any classes or parties. If you wish to join us in this capacity, we cannot reserve your space unless you pre-pay and register by our deadline date June 6th, 2008. The Day Tripper rate for dance classes is $40 per class. The admission for our Teacher show / Goodbye party with student show is $15. PLEASE NOTE: In order to guarantee your space for classes and our parties "Day Trippers" MUST fill out a registration form and pay in advance. We are allowing people to sign up for classes and parties at the event but space is not guaranteed. Day Trippers who do not pre-register and pre-pay will be accomodated on a first come - first serve basis ONLY. Once we have reached our full capacity in either transportation or classroom space, we regret that we cannot allow any additional participants. If you pay in advance and pre register you are guaranteed placement in the classes of your choice. You may pay in advance by credit or debit card via Paypal or by check or money order via our mail in form. Full payment must be recieved by June 6th, 2008 for pre - registration for day trippers.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If an attendee cancels their registration, he or she must notify Folk Tours in writing in order to be eligible for their refund. A confirmation letter will be sent to you via e-mail or by post to notify you that we have received your cancellation notice. There is a cancellation fee, the amount of which is dependent upon the date that you notify us that you wish to cancel. Cancellations fees are as follows:
Prior to 60 days before the event: $100 per person
Between 59-30 days before the event: $200 per person
Between 29-15 days before the event: 50 % of total cost of the festival and/or optional tour(s)
Less than 15 days before the event: 75 % of total cost of the festival and/or optional tour(s).
Less than 7 days before, no refund.
